Come discover the Petaluma River and Watershed with our fun and knowledge staff. On the tour, we will explore the history, ecology, economics and current issues facing the River and its Watershed. Friends offers two ways to visit the watershed, through our scheduled tours or by chartering a private tour for your group. You can sign up for a scheduled tour below or call our office to set up a charter tour, (707) 763-7756.

Scheduled tours include wine and cheese and can be booked for $65 per person with . Charter tours  can accommodate up to 6 people and cost $150/hr to book. There is a two hour minimum for charter tours. Dates are dependent on availability.

Wine & Cheese Sunset Tours

Our Wine & Cheese Sunset Tours take you on a delectable tour of our Watershed. Beginning at 5:30pm at the Petaluma Marina we voyage downstream for an hour peeking into sloughs and exploring historic sites. Sunset tours are offered on select Fridays throughout the summer.

Send your Employees Down the River

What better way to build team spirit or entertain business guests than an afternoon on the Petaluma River? In our 17-foot touring barge we will show your employees and guests the remarkable world right outside your office with a tour of the Petaluma River and Marsh. Tours can be tailored to fit your needs and can start and finish in downtown Petaluma or at the Petaluma Marina.
