Young and old alike can learn to treasure all our River has to offer- from camps and youth programs to boat building and river boat tours. The more we learn, the more we understand the role the River plays in Petaluma’s cultural fabric: socially, recreationally, environmentally and historically.
We promote River exploration though our scheduled or private riverboat tours, led by our knowledgeable staff. You can also explore the Petaluma River from the comfort of your own home through our new Watershed Atlas, an interactive, multi-layered web-based map of the Petaluma Watershed.
Our Green Heron Nature camp connects kids ages 6-12 with the River and the outdoor environment of the Petaluma Watershed through hands on exploration.
