Immerse your child in the beauty of the Petaluma River and its watershed at Green Heron Nature Camp!
Youth will embark on a transformative adventure as they discover the wonders of nature through exploration, earth-based skills, wild crafting and play!
Our expert mentors will guide youth in their nature connection journey as campers delight in kayaking adventures on the river, take refreshing swims in the beautiful pond at Open Field Farm, deepen their sense of place with sit spots, and strengthen their connection to the land, themselves, and each other through nature-based art, crafts, and games.
From wildlife tracking to the fascinating world of edible and medicinal plants, each week of camp will bring a unique opportunity for campers to delve deeper with an expert special guest!

Pricing:
Ages 5-12: $380/week
Ages 13-16: $500/week (includes 1 overnight)

Cohort Policy:
To ensure a tailored and age-appropriate environment, we carefully group kids into cohorts based on their age a few weeks before their
week of camp begins. This thoughtful approach allows us to tailor activities, learning experiences, and supervision to the unique needs and interests of each age group. During registration, you’ll have the chance to request for campers to be placed in the same cohort as their friends, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Cancellation Policy:
If you notify us at least 2 weeks in advance, we can process a full refund, deducting a $25.00 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be possible with less than 2 weeks’ notice.

Campamento de Naturaleza Garza Verde 2024
¡Invitamos a su hija(o) a ver la belleza del Río Petaluma y su cuenca en el Campamento de la Naturaleza Garza Verde (Green Heron Nature Camp)!
¡Los jóvenes se embarcarán en una aventura increíble mientras descubren las maravillas de la naturaleza a través de la exploración, habilidades rústicas, artesanía, y juegos!
Nuestros mentores expertos guiarán a los jóvenes en su viaje de conexión con la naturaleza mientras los campistas se deleitan con aventuras en kayak en el río, nadan refrescantemente en el hermoso estanque de Open Field Farm, profundizan su sentido de pertenencia con lugares que fortalecen su conexión con la tierra y entre sí a través de arte, manualidades y juegos basados en la naturaleza.
Desde el seguimiento de la vida silvestre hasta el fascinante mundo de las plantas comestibles y medicinales, cada semana del campamento brindará a los campistas una oportunidad única de profundizar más con un invitado especial.

Políticas del Cohorte:
Para garantizar un entorno personalizado y apropiado para menores, agrupamos cuidadosamente a los campistas en cohortes según su edad unas semanas antes de que comience la semana de campamento. Este enfoque cauteloso nos permite adaptar las actividades, las experiencias de aprendizaje y la supervisión a las necesidades e intereses únicos de cada grupo de edad. Durante las inscripciones, tendrá la oportunidad de solicitar que los campistas estén en el mismo grupo que sus amigos, y haremos todo lo posible.
Políticas de Cancelación:
Si nos notifica con al menos 2 semanas de anticipación, podemos procesar un reembolso completo, deduciendo una tarifa de cancelación de $25.00. No se podrán realizar reembolsos con menos de 2 semanas de notificación.
