Join Friends for the annual Spring Petaluma River Cleanup and be a part of the solution to river pollution! This effort regularly removes 3,000-5,000 lbs. of trash from our waterways and we need your help to ensure we can remove as much trash as possible from our creeks. Sign up to volunteer today! Schools, businesses, and groups are encouraged to sign-up and will be stationed at the same location.

Volunteers will enjoy a BBQ with live music, raffle and family activities after the cleanup. We will gather at Steamer Landing Park for supplies, site instructions, snacks and a safety talk before heading out to over 10 locations in the Petaluma Watershed. We’ll provide trash pickers, gloves, bags and buckets.

What to expect: Bring a re-usable water bottle and wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Let us know if there are youngsters or people with limited mobility in your group and we will assign you a site accordingly.
