Our beloved Transhumance Festival is returning this Spring to once again connect us to our agricultural landscapes. We invite you to join us in celebrating our ranchers, farmers and agricultural producers at our 3rd annual Transhumance gathering, marking the seasonal migration of grazing animals.

All ages are welcome. Come meet the goats at Steamer Landing Park, enjoy a beverage, bring your own picnic and relax along the Petaluma River. Family activities! Information about our local producers! Local products for sale!

9am – Shepherds & goats arrive at Steamer Landing Park
10am – Herd goats from Steamer Landing Park to Petaluma City  Hall
11:15am – Arrive at City Hall / Presentation of Rights of Nature Proclamation
12:00pm – Herd goats back to Steamer Landing Park
12:45 – 3:00pm – Transhumance Celebration – Bring your a picnic and enjoy live music by Burnside
