Join Friends own Michelle Sauceda and Edward Willie for an immersion into the native art of tule- weaving. Adults will learn the challenging techniques of basket-making while younger participants can make boats and other fun items.

Time: 10am – 2pm

Edward Willie, is a native of California of Pomo, Wintu and Wailaki ancestry.  He is a native ecologist with 40+ years’ experience teaching Traditional Ecological Knowledge, Basketry, Herbalism, Permaculture, and ancient skills to people of all ages.
