At the Park

  • Nature Camps

Our summer Green Heron Nature Camp and monthly Nature Immersion cams connect youth to the wonders of the Petaluma River through play, exploration, earth skills and curiosity.

  • Events

Celebration is a core belief at Friends and we like to invite you to celebrate the River with us at our annual events, Transhumance, Rivertown Revival and the Sunset Fandango, as well as at barn dances and other community events held at the Park.

  • Education

Field trips through our Watershed Classroom program and interpretive exhibits in the River Heritage Center help our community learn about the Petaluma River.

  • Boating at the Barn

Join Friends on the River with our free Boating at the Barn program on Sundays from 10am - 1pm. We’ll be back this Spring with our new dock!

  • Stewardship

Be a part of stewarding Steamer Landing Park by joining one of our community Stewardship Days or River Cleanups.
