Removed 7,822 lbs. of trash with our Petaluma River Cleanups

Cleared 17 creeks and waterways of trash and debris

RECREATION & ACCESS

 

Worked with local and national leaders to get the Petaluma River dredged in 2020

Provided paddling experiences for hundreds of youth and adults

Brought together watershed stakeholders to increase access and conservation

Advocated for smart growth that preserves River access and open spaces

 

EDUCATION

Brought hands-on, outdoor, project-based learning to over 400 students

Connected hundreds of campers to nature during our award-winning Green Heron Nature Camp

Supported water quality with our student Watershed PSA Video Award, which received over 150 submissions

Engaged dozens of youth with in-person environmental education through our after school program Flickers

 

 

CELEBRATION

 

Celebrated the Petaluma River through our free Living Room Live concert series

Hosted a live performance of ‘Wind in the Willows’ Piper at the Gates of Dawn

Built community around the River with our virtual Silver Screen Fandango Gala

Promoted local, sustainable agriculture with a virtual production of Transhumance
