This is a view of the upper Petaluma River that would be impacted by the proposed Sid Commons development. This is sensitive habitat that will be degraded while flooding and river pollution will increase due to paving over the flood plain. This isn’t the type of sustainable development we need as we prepare for sea level rise and other impacts of climate change. The Petaluma City Council takes this issue up tonight.
