The Transhumance Festival is back to highlight some of our community’s hardest working members, grazers! Join us in welcoming a small herd to Steamer Landing Park on Saturday, April 29th, to graze the Park, providing amazing soil benefits and fire mitigation.

TRANSHUMANCE FESTIVAL

Saturday, April 29th

11am – 2pm

Steamer Landing Park

Enjoy some local food, family activities, live music and of course meet the sheep. There will be demonstrations on sheep sheering, information on local grazing and agricultural services, a community weaving loom, and more great connections to our grazing community.

Check out more about the event at www.sassyandgrassy.com

We’ll be joined by Van Goat, the Petaluma band phenom described by Good Times Santa Cruz as “raw and so energetic that you’ll want to upstage your granddaddy on the dance floor,” so come ready to move!
